Wags for Wellness
Graphic Design Intern
'Wags for Wellness' was a program that had emotional support dogs and an emotional support cat that occasionally visited campus to assist any stressed students. Was tasked to designing a sew-on patch for the 'Wags for Wellness' staff and volunteers. Created different mock-ups on Adobe Illustrator before it was approved for production. Was aiming for simplicity, legibility, and inclusivity.

Created an illustration that was inspired by a character from an online PC game. Illustration was created in Adobe Photoshop, with references from Pinterest. Experimented with different techniques to render and line the character. Inspiration was from creating a brand new 'variation' of an existing character that was 'cute' and 'small'.
"You did well, Jonghyun"
Freelance Illustration
A portrait dedicated to the late Korean singer, Jonghyun, who unfortunately lost his long battle with depression. Medias used were grayscale markers, colored pencils, and meticulously cut out paper butterflies. Butterflies were used to symbolize his decaying mental health -- how he gradually no longer was capable of hearing, seeing, or understanding self-love. Finally, the turquoise butterfly was to symbolize how his fans and group members will always remember his legacy.
